Hello, and welcome to the blog section of my portfolio! I am excited to have you here as I share my academic and creative endeavors with the world. This space showcases my research, projects, and personal updates, all available freely and publicly under my name.
Such is largely the mission of my workings as a whole: above all else, I strive for high-levels of accessibility across media formats. All people across the world should be able to appreciate the amenities and benefits derived from modern science - similarly, such technologies can further the rate of global cultural exchange. It is my belief that technology is best utilized to embolden human capabilities, not replace human-capabilities; in this regard, the future I envision is very much one of human-technology synergy - this is something you'll likely find across my writings. In a properly curated future - guided with proper altruistic oversight - technology can be leveraged to dramatically improve (and extend) quality of life, aiding in both practical and creative endeavors by (broadly speaking) increasing the efficiency at which any task can be done (streamlining and integrating processes - such is a core function of Information Technology!)
It must be stressed that under improper or malicious guidance, technology can also be divisive or used as a tool for harm. As society is increasingly technologically integrated, the potential damage any individual can cause leveraging technological means too increases, as to does the risk for our digital infrastructure to itself become a battleground - a facilitator of public chaos.
My current workings (at the time this post was written) stem from the periods I was an Undergraduate and a Graduate student. Regarding this, I am proud to share that I recently graduated from Missouri S&T with a Master’s in Information Science & Technology - the latter half of my education emphasizing an intersection between business and emerging technologies. This achievement is a significant milestone in my life, so I created this website to catalog all my previous works and provide a place for my upcoming projects (both creative and academic in nature) in the hope that I'm able to disseminate my knowledge - that is, the findings of my research, or the merit / message of my work - to the global community.

What to Expect
I would very much like this Blog / Announcement segment of my site to be genuine insights into myself, my ongoings, and my various processes. This could mean an announcement for an upcoming project / release, a dev log, or general updates. This is intended to be largely all-purposes (with regards to me broadly relaying information to "the public") as well as "off-the-cuff" on my part. That is to say, some of these logs might be more informal in nature, but will seek to be broadly informative.
The Intent of This First Post
Admittedly, this first post will likely be quite mundane as a result of the transitionary period that it's written under. There are a number of research and writing projects, particularly, that I'm independently pursuing which still exist in the preliminary investigation phase. The end deliverable of such efforts is intended to produce quality articles of educational or informative writing which can subsequently be published through varying outlets.
At this time, I am also undertaking creative writing projects, but select academic projects are taking priority. There are similar developmental - or upstart related - projects that have temporarily been put on the backburner as a result of personal circumstance. That is to say, as my platform is being established, the most exciting announcements have yet to come!
Engaging with the Community
This post serves as an avenue for me to more personally introduce myself and showcase some of the base capabilities of the site in its early stages. In that regard, hopefully "you" like the site! I am it's sole developer - as such, I would be infinitely grateful to any individual who reaches out - at any point - to identify any bugs, visual inconsistencies, or otherwise erroneous features within my site. Similarly, my works are open to critique or discussion for those who see fit; I strive for continuous improvement within my personal life, and my works - my website included - are no different. At this stage, I see no reason to implement social functions within the site: comment sections, user-accounts, and similar (although I have experience doing so).
Please reach out utilizing any of the information on my Contact Page for any comments, concerns, job offers, or general inquiries. In the ever abstract concept of "at some point", if there is sufficient "community incentive" to integrate social features, I'm not entirely opposed to it - particularly if a strong multi-platform presence is a future viability. Regardless, I will read and evaluate each inquiry personally and - similarly - respond personally as I view appropriate; for that matter, I will attempt to directly reply to each reasonably considered message that I may receive.
Lux ex umbris,
